How long does it take to build a website?

A basic website can take between 2-4 weeks. However, a bespoke website or eCommerce website can take anything from 6-12 weeks.

Do you have different packages of websites available?

We have different packages tailored for individual clients needs such as standard websites, eCommerce websites, Website Maintenance Solutions for repairing or improving existing websites and a Template Design service for customers who want to work on things on their own. We also have Chameleon Hosting which was developed as a platform for our web design clients to have their websites hosted by us at a price that is reasonable should they not already have an alternative provider.

What is a Content Management System (CMS)?

A Content Management System (CMS) is the application from which your website is built. It allows publishing, modifying, editing and the general maintenance of your website.

Can Chameleon do all of my website updates for me?

Yes, we can. You tell us what you need and we will do it for you.

What length of time am I tied into a contract for the design and development of my website?

Unlike our competitors we don’t hold you to ransom with contracts. We take the initial 30% deposit off the final invoice.

Do I need to purchase my own website domain name?

We recommend you purchase your own domain name. We will assist you with this process to ensure it’s done correctly and that efficiently. If you would like us to purchase it then we can do this for you but be aware that it has come to our attention previously that certain Web Design Companies may register the domain in their own name. We feel this is unethical practice and can result in issues down the line.
