For SEO purposes it is bets practice to have your website hosted on an IP address with a different Class C block.

For example: 255.142.xxx.150

The xxx represents the Class C block and should try and get an IP address that differs where the xxx is.

Using different hosting companies is one way around this but really a good hosting company should be able to provide a unique IP address on a different C Block.
